Wafa is a Program Manager for Junior Achievement of British Columbia, which is one of the largest non-profit organizations around the world. They deliver a wide selection of educational programs focusing on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Cultural Adaptation from the University of Fraser Valley. She has met many young women who want to develop themselves professionally and just need that one mentor to perhaps show them how to find their path to success. Being an immigrant herself and moving to Canada at the age of 7, she is passionate about working with Muslim women around the globe and in our community. She loves learning about their passions and interests, especially with our next generation of leaders and how I can support them. Wafa loves planning parties. If she was not a Program Manager, she would probably be an event planner. She also loves food, and trying and sharing new recipes. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family, and go for walks.
