Programs Manager -
The Programs Manager will organize and coordinate all Voices of Muslim (VMW) programs pertaining to leadership, scholarship, and mentorship. This position will provide strategic guidance to the VMW teams and committees in ways that promote the organization's culture, vision, and operations.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, driven, possess strong leadership skills and will have experience in managing and collaborating with members of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
- Experience as a Program Manager for a not for profit organization is preferred, but not required
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management softwares (Canva, MS Project, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
Hours: 2-3 hours a week (flexibility contingent on deadlines). The Program Manager will be required to have a set weekly meeting with the Executive Director (30 mins - 1 hour) to update on all programs/committees.
